“baby do you know something?” you heard a voice, belonging to the one and only best boy in your life. you tore your eyes from your phone and turned around, meeting his enamored gaze.
“what ant?” you ask, bringing a hand to his curls, letting his hair dance around your fingertips.
“I’m so goddamn lucky.” he murmurs, his lips slightly open, eyes studying your face. “did you know that? how lucky I am to be with you?” he asks after a pause, not really expecting an answer.
your grin spreads and you laugh, “you sure are.” a smile crosses Anthony’s lips, and a small chuckle escapes them.
“oh damn, you’re so sexy. like fucking hot. you’re so hot. like unbelievably beautiful. how did I get this sexy stunning gorgeous-” he cut himself off, furrowing his brows. “did you fall asleep?” he didn’t get an answer, and he glanced at the clock. 3:45 AM. was it that late? he traced the small of your neck with his fingers, watching your sleeping figure.
he loved you, why he couldn’t get himself to say it out loud. he pressed his lips to your forehead, muttering a small “I love you” against your skin. from that angle, he couldn’t see the small smile spread across your cheeks.
